HWY905^TM Warehouse Receiving and Put-away Solution

A highly integrated warehouse solution must begin receiving and put-away functions. The Vigna HWY905^TM Solution can process all types of receipts into the warehouse. Anticipated or Un-anticipated Purchase orders can be received into the system.

HWY905^TM can receive these Purchase Orders directly from the ERP or they be processed manually. Some features of the Receiving modules are full usage of blind receiving and damage processing. When receiving is complete, ERP update of present stock level can be done. This allows for orders to be dropped. Other features include application of pallet or case tags and capture by wireless devices of critical information. When receiving has been completed, HWY905^TM will allow the put-away process to start. The Put-away activity can be configured to instruct warehouse receiving workers where to store goods either in a default location or by choice. As this is done, the system will record the locations and quantity. While the system will choose all locations based on best fit, velocity and other factors, manual override is allowed. All these features are configurable within the system. Other best in breed function is the use of Cross Dock locations for Fast Shipping to customers.
