Developed by the people of Vigna in response to the realization that no one solution ever seems to provide all the pieces necessary to supply the complete answer to Logistics Execution needs and problems.

Logistics Services requires much more than just a warehouse management solution. It must be able to respond to today’s rapidly changing Demand Oriented Environment, issues of Customer Compliance, Government Regulations and the need to have the right supply in the right place and time have replaced huge warehouses just managing “factory push based inventory”. A Logistics system must walk hand in hand with the Planning and Manufacturing Process. The cost of Inventory is a closely watched financial line item on everyone’s P/L statement. Logistics cost has become everyone’s cost reduction area.

HWY905^TM Suite

HWY905^TM’s Built-In function allows for optimization of customers orders for building fully Loaded Trailers traveling to one customer site or multiple customer sites. Processes such as choosing the best service carrier at the best rates have been integrated into the order planning and execution process. Lastly, just shipping an order does not complete the Logistics activities. It has to be shipped at the right time with the full customer order requirements met and with someone in head quarters being able to track and trace it from the time it leaves your warehouse until the time it arrives at the customer’s building. The HWY905^TM Solution meets all of these needs. This was Vigna’s strategic goal two years ago when it under took the mission to build this Solution.
